Microsoft have recently announced that they will be “silently” upgrading older Internet browsers to a newer and more stable version. Finally I thought, this is great news and it will be rolled out (firstly in Brazil and Australia) in January.
The Occupy Flash movement has begun and whilst I agree in principle with its aims and objectives, I believe the manner in which our reliance on Flash should be combatted needs to be addressed. Developers are at the front line of this battle, it is they who hold tone power to combat the continuation of Flash, and so we explore, together, the ways in which we can reduce our dependence on the Flash plugin.
